About Sim.Racing
Sim.Racing is a magazine about sim racing: rigs and cockpits, wheel bases and pedals, games and platforms, driving technique, setup and esports. This page explains who makes it, how we work, how advertising is marked and how to reach us.
What we cover
We write for people who race at home or want to start: from a first wheel clamped to a desk to a full aluminium profile rig with direct drive and load cell pedals. Our articles cover hardware, titles and platforms such as iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Le Mans Ultimate and Gran Turismo 7, driving technique and car setup, leagues and esports, and sim racing as a business, from simulator centres to corporate events.
Sim.Racing appears in English. Our German edition Sim.Racing Wissen and our Spanish edition Guías Sim.Racing each answer one hundred practical questions, every one with its sources.
Who is behind Sim.Racing
Sim.Racing is published by Norbert Davidt (isla.marketing, Palma de Mallorca), who is also responsible for its content. The full details are in our legal notice. Articles are researched, written and edited by the Sim.Racing Desk, the editorial team of the magazine.
Sim.Racing belongs to the Lifestyle Marketing Club, a network of special interest magazines run by NexTao GmbH in Düsseldorf and isla.marketing in Palma.
How we work
- Research before opinion. Our guides are based on manufacturer documentation, official compatibility lists, developer notes, series rules and pricing pages. Each revised guide lists its sources at the end.
- Researched or tested. We say in every revised article what it is based on. Our buying guides compare products from specifications and official documentation. They are not hands-on tests unless the article says so.
- Prices with a date. Prices and compatibility change often. Buying guides give the price source, the currency and the date we checked.
- Corrections in the open. When we find an error, we correct it and say what changed at the end of the article. The corrections log is part of our editorial standards.
Advertising
Sim.Racing is financed through the Lifestyle Marketing Club. Companies can book features in magazines that match their subject; the options are listed on our advertising page. Booked features are marked as advertising at the top of the article. Buying guides are editorial: a product appears because it fits a buyer group, not because its maker paid for it. We do not use affiliate links.
